Square Virtual Terminal is another form of transaction payment method from Square where payment is done manually online from one’s computer as they accept a customer or buyer’s payment over the phone.
Can I Pay Using Square Virtual Terminal When I Have Square E-Gift Cards?
Yes, Square E-Gift Cards can be use as accepted form of payment during a transaction on Square Virtual Terminal but bear in mind that you (the Customer or Buyer) do Not have access to Square Virtual Terminal only the Seller have access and can finish off the transaction. The payment is manually entered into a Square Virtual Terminal online system or Square App when you pay with your E-Gift Card or other payment option such as debit or credit card when needed, this is where we call it Split Tender, this can be use to cover total cost when there is insufficient funds on your E-Gift Card. Square changes a fee of 2.5% per transaction done manually.

I Have MysticalDat Square E-Gift Card, Can I Use This To Book Life Coaching Appointment?
Square E-Gift Cards can only be use on Square Online Store or selected Square Partners however I can accept Square E-Gift Cards as a form of payment option when you want to make a life coaching appointment as I will be using Square Virtual Terminal, an online system payment service provided by Square on a computer or Square App to process payment manually. I will be doing this over the phone when you call to make an appointment, you will need to provide me with the payment option that is your E-Gift Card code or other Payment Methods such as debit or credit cards if your E-Gift Card balance does not cover the total cost for Coaching. We can use Split Tender (that is when you do not have sufficient funds on your Square E-Gift Cards you can use your debit or credit card) to complete your total cost payment in full.
Please ensure you have your Card Number, Expiry Date and Security Code and CVV (this can be found at the back of your debit or credit card) ready as these are all required when processing payment manually through Square Virtual Terminal. For transaction entered manually Square changes a fee of 2.5% per transaction.
Can I Get A Refund And How Long Does It Take To Get Square Refunds?
You can get a refund and it can take 9 to 14 business working days to complete the refund process for money to get into your account. Note that the processing speed will also depend on your bank.
If the Refund is Manual Transfer then Square will immediately debit your linked bank account to cover and complete the refund, this way you are refunded promptly instead of replying on Square balance awaiting transfer.
How Long After A Payment Can I Request Or Do I Get A Refund?
If payment transaction is done on Square mobile device then the refund is required to be requested and complete within 120 days of the original transaction date. Payments refunded through Square online dashboard system can be refunded within a year of the original transaction date.
